Forbes Names Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Among Nation’s Top 15 Colleges for Launching Careers
Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ also ranked 8th nationally for lowest student debt
EL PASO, Texas (Dec. 18, 2025) – Forbes has ranked The University of Texas at El Paso among the 15 top colleges for launching careers and eighth nationally for lowest average student debt.
The evaluated 500 colleges nationwide for their effectiveness in helping graduates successfully enter the workforce. Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ joins a distinguished group of institutions that includes Carnegie Mellon University, Drexel University and Arizona State University.
“Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ opens doors for anyone who is willing to work for it,” said Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ President Heather Wilson. “I’m proud that Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ is being recognized nationally for our real-world impact on students’ lives.”

In addition, the 2025 Forbes List of found that Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ ranks eighth nationally for the lowest average student debt — $4,410 — at graduation. In Texas, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ has the second-lowest average debt out of all colleges and universities.
