Campus Shuttle Route Change Effective June 30
Effective Tuesday, June 30, the Miner Metro Shuttle’s Campus Loop (Green) Route will be suspended and replaced by the East (Blue) Route due to ongoing campus construction impacts.
The route modification is intended to maintain shuttle access while a temporary closure of a portion of Glory Road affects normal traffic routes. It will also provide new shuttle stops along Schuster Avenue.
What's Changing
- The Campus Loop (Green) Route will no longer operate.
- The East (Blue) Route will become the primary shuttle service for this service area.
- The East Route, which connects the main campus and the Campbell Building, has been expanded to serve additional areas on the east and south (Schuster) side of campus.
- The Miner Alley stop will not be serviced by this route.
The new East Route will make the following six stops, which are included on the map below:
- Campbell Stop
- Prospect Stop
- Miner Heights Stop
- Oregon Stop
- University East Stop
- University Towers Stop
The new route will reduce walking distances for riders accessing the Miner Heights and Prospect areas.
Riders should familiarize themselves with the new route map and stop locations before traveling. Please note that Campus Loop riders may need to use a different stop than they used previously.
The route frequency and operating hours remain unchanged. The East (Blue) Route shuttles will be available every 17 minutes, traffic permitting, with service hours from 7:40 a.m. – 5:27 p.m.
The West (Orange) Route will continue to operate as usual.
