Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC) manages Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s intellectual property and facilitates the transfer of technologies into commercial products.
We work closely with Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ innovators to identify and evaluate patentable inventions, develop patent prosecution strategies for complex portfolios of inventions.
Through our marketing campaigns and outreach programs, we identify potential licensees and start-up opportunities to promote Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ intellectual property to industry.
We draft, negotiate, and manage all commercialization agreements surrounding Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ intellectual property, including confidentiality agreements, options, license agreements, and collaboration agreements.
We provide educational resources to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ faculty and student innovators, assist start-ups with new company formation and businesses plan development, and provide fundraising and resource matching activities.
