This project activates works drawn exclusively from the Rubin Center's permanent collection, placing them in dialogue with our concurrent exhibitions, Costuras Territoriales and AMBOS. Rather than presenting the collection as a historical archive, this project considers it as a living resource whose works continue to speak to questions of material knowledge, labor, care, migration, and community. Bringing together works from different moments and media, the project highlights shared strategies of making that connect personal experience with broader social realities.
