Student Appointment Review Committee

As stated in the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Student Government Association (SGA) Governing Documents, the membership power shall be vested in the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ SGA Student Appointment Review Committee as a Standing Committee and the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ SGA Senate. 

The Student Appointment Review Committee (SARC) shall be responsible for: 

  • Advising and making recommendations to the SGA Senate on applications for all non-elected positions 
In short: SARC oversees the recruitment or recommendation of members into the SGA. These members include Justices, Legal Representatives (Prosecutor and Public Defender), Legislative Assistants, and Faculty Senate Standing Committees.
